Chula Vista launches the new department of housing and homeless services.
I read from the Newsbreak that about four dozen homeless people lived at Harborside Park in Chula Vista before this day, but thanks to the housing and homeless services department that the city launched to address the growing needs of finding housing and helping the people stay housed. So this year, several projects will be undertaken, including policies for tenant protection, helping those facing homelessness, and the construction of affordable residences.
